We have collaborated with the Illinois State of Education (ISBE) since 2005 by partnering with its Regional Offices of Education and Intermediate Service Centers across the State of Illinois. We also partner with affiliated groups sponsoring continued school leadership development programs and conferences, including ASHRP We are honored that our school leader academy has been recertified every five years by ISBE certification staff since its inception which speaks to its relevancy in today’s school environment.
Our Administrators’ Academy is approved for annual School Administrator Recertification with the Illinois State Board of Education for an Administrative Certificate (Type 75). Administrators may attend our workshops sponsored by an ROE/ISC with their school leader teams (in-tact small group) or individually. School Districts or larger School Building Teams may opt to schedule an in-house session with us directly. In-house sessions often serve as a retreat opener for strategic planning sessions during the summer or a teambuilding workshop to start a new school year. Many school leaders use the session to implement a year-long initiative in their district or school. Additionally, your session can be customized to address goals and objectives unique to your District’s or School’s Leadership Team. We can provide guidance or consultation services to support implementing the initiative. This includes partnering with you to identify key components for the plan as well as completing a mid-year refresher session and teleconferencing support.
We also offer a shortened version of the academy for school staff. School leaders often use this session for staff professional development with an emphasis on self-awareness and team collaboration.
